Talk about innovation: a university student trying to make her first movie; a writer trying to sell his screenplay; a visual effects team trying to create the impossible; and a producer making million-dollar deals. These moments – and more – are Hollywood (Saskatchewan): Season Two. The second season of Hollywood (Saskatchewan) will remain as entertaining as the first, but will give the audience a more focused examination of the inner workings of the industry. From the people involved both locally and abroad, to the leaps and bounds achieved in our technology every year, there has never been a more exciting time to be a part of motion pictures on the prairies.
By shining a spotlight on the success of the Saskatchewan film industry and on the achievements of individuals in this community, this new season of Hollywood (Saskatchewan) will relate to the audience the many opportunities that exist within the province. It is a vibrant industry consisting of many young, passionate individuals who, through entrepreneurship and career development programs, take advantage of every opportunity. This series will continue to showcase the talented work coming from the booming Saskatchewan film industry.
